Actors are Orson Bean, Richard Boone, Hans Conried and John Huston. The film follows the story from the book. The films The Lord of the Rings (1978, by Ralph Bakshi) and The Return of the King (1980, also Rankin / Bass) seen as an unofficial trilogy.
